This historic home located in Sandwich, MA was in need of a refresh and additional space. A major renovation opened up the existing interior spaces to each other through the removal of walls and to the outside through the addition of plentiful windows. We preserved the historic front elevation and placed the addition of off the rear of the house, keeping the scale appropriate through the use of dormers and varied rooflines. The wrap around porch grounds the house and supplies aesthetic charm and a welcoming and functional side entry.
