Casual living can help minimize square footage, as seen here with the mudroom doing double duty as the main entry. The great room looks out onto the pond, along with a screened porch off of the dining area. The flat roof of the mudroom and screened porch allowed for a roof deck accessible from the second floor.

This home is anticipated to have net-zero energy consumption. Energy efficient aspects of this home include non-PVC based trim and siding, high performing European tilt turn windows, above code R values with continuous exterior insulation, PV panels, a high efficiency ERV, and battery back up.
