This home is set on a quiet dead end road in West Falmouth, MA, and faces toward a private beach on Buzzards Bay. Within a more traditional Cape Cod style massing, we were able to add a little whimsy with a curved roof over the front porch and a sweet screened porch tucked in between the house and garage, with both spaces accommodating some views towards the water. The majority of the interior spaces also connect with this view through thoughtfully placed windows. Comfortable and functional spaces for the family include the great room with open kitchen and dedicated wet bar, mud room with storage tucked under the stair, double sided gas fireplace shared between the living room and sunroom and a pair of stacked outdoor showers on the rear of the house, with the upper one directly serving the primary bathroom.
