A new pool at an existing house in Falmouth, MA called for a few updates, including the addition of a free standing pool house. We referenced the architectural style of the existing house for the exterior and developed a charming cottage style interior that not only provides support for poolside activities but can accommodate guests and even function as a painting studio for the client. Oversized sliding doors and continuous granite pavers from the pool deck allow for an easy and casual transition between indoor and outdoor space. The main house additions all elevated the back yard experience as well, including a screened porch, a new bathroom to create a first floor en suite and an outdoor shower easily accessed off of this bathroom as well as from the pool area.
